Having grown up (and still living) in Europe, the US and South Africa I'm all about making your vision work for your life no matter where you're from or what you're doing.

My past work includes: running events for Meryl Streep and James Franco (among many others), creating and hosting workshops in paradise locations, coaching individuals around the world and teaching the latest tools and technology you can use to work smarter, not harder.

I see solutions where others only see problems and I love to cut the bullsh*t and get down to business.

The most common question I get asked is
“How did you make that so easy?”

As a child, my father's answers to our questions 99% of the time was “resource and initiative”. It drove us nuts but also meant there wasn't a thing I didn't learn to do or at least researched. I learned to say yes more than no and figure it out as I went along.

Which is how I became a “fairy godmother of solutions” or as my friends affectionately call me “the brain”, and they are “pinky” (did you ever see that cartoon show as a kid?). I see solutions where others only see obstacles and love nothing more than creating plans and reviewing systems and logistics.

But my absolutely most favourite part is seeing a dream or vision become a reality – whether that's yours or mine doesn't matter. There's something about crossing that finishing line when you think you can't take another step while people are cheering you on that makes me want to start again.

From the glamorous world of Hollywood's A-list to the insanity of tour management for rock stars, to running international conferences and watching over retreats and live events in paradise locations around the world, to workshops in your community, there is no event type that I haven't had the privilege of hosting.

Organising and coordinating has been part of my life since the very beginning – whether I was in charge of the 22 suitcases my family had moving across continents or hosting my first “wedding” on a dude ranch age 12 (everybody relax, it was a fake one, my brother was the officiant aged 10, everyone pitched in and we had an amazing time).

Here's a quick summary of my history:

  • at 18, I was running corporate retreats and events at a famous 5* hotel.
  • with 21, I was working on plays and musicals in London's West End.
  • at 23, Rockstars and Olympic Arenas sang their way into my heart.
  • with 25, I was running the logistics and events for Hollywood stars all over Europe.
  • and those are only the major landmarks because it has been getting more and more exciting ever day.

I love designing, creating and hosting events because bringing people together for an unforgettable experience is where the magic of human connection is at it's strongest. Looking over a room of 20 or 50,000 people seeing their eyes light up as their hearts sing with excitement is my crack.

Only I've you've worked on big events will you know what it feels like to step into the room or arena before the doors open and feeling that quiet before the bass kicks in and you can feel it push against your chest as the beats travel through the air and excitement is palpable.

I truly believe that – especially today where technology is such a big part of our life – bringing people together intentionally for a purpose (without technology) is what we are craving at the bottom of our hearts even if we don't know it. Which is why I am so passionate about helping entrepreneurs, yoga teachers and coaches host their own workshops and retreats.

But that's not all.

Want to know another secret about me? I have never been employed full-time.

My entire career I have been freelancing or been on contracts. Which means that I have made every mistake there is to make when it comes to being an entrepreneur and running your own business.

I got in early, with 18 I started an import / export business – what a learning curve I tell you. That business grew steadily and is now fully automated and we are only focused on the customer service while doubling every year. Thank you technology!

There have been many projects, in various countries, all which require their own special attention to details and I have come out stronger and more knowledge than I ever thought possible.

Which is why I am so motivated to helping you not make the same mistakes that cost you time and precious energy. Why not take a shortcut if it's there. Nobody is going to blame you for taking the most direct path vs creating your own in the deep jungle of information and possibility.

I love seeing others succeed because it means you can go on to create not only that life you've been dreaming of but you can also pay it forward to your community and those you encounter on your journey.

How awesome is that?

Nothing is more stressful than not being able to understand how to use technology or a system to bring your vision to life. Whether that is your website, email marketing or social media.

My not-so-secret secret is that I am a total geek for technology and tools. I read all about the latest features and reviews because I love knowing how things work and what they can do for me.

I never thought I would find myself with my Dad changing the seat belt's on his roofless jeep but there I was screwdriver in hand. By the way, he never thought I would be the one to help him with that as well. Total fail on my brothers behalf, sorry bro.

I don't want to spend the precious hours I have assigned for work trying to understand what my options are and what system I could or should be implementing. I just want what I have to work.

Which is why I love putting together, girlboss friendly, technology guides and updates so you don't have to spend hours and hours researching, deciphering and trying tools, systems and technology for your business and life.

Machines are supposed to help us not frustrate us.

Next time, you are thinking about what email marketing system you should use or how to change that bottom bar on your Divi theme check my blog and YouTube for the tutorials and how-to's. Save those hours and pamper yourself with the saved time instead – cause girls gotta be chilled out in order to be in their true power.
